Background on the authors/designers
Hi! I’m Lilly, I’m currently enrolled in the IXD Master’s program at Pratt Institute. I’ve lived in New York my entire life, but going to school in the city has been an exciting new experience for me! My main interest is accessibility in video game design.
Hi Guys! I’m from the Interaction Design program. I have a background in design and usability as apart of my architecture study in my undergrad. Broadly translating this into UX design and research has been very interesting and personally opened up new avenues to explore design within the digital domain.
Sarah Madaus
Hi y’all, I’m a Masters of Library and Information Science student living in Brooklyn, NY. My background is in journalism and digital media, and I’m now pursuing a career in school or children’s librarianship. I’m a cycling instructor and freelance magazine writer. In my spare time, I’m watching 2000s teen dramas, tending to my houseplants, or spending time outdoors.
Hi Guys! I’m a student in the IXD program at Pratt Institute. I have worked as a visual designer and brand strategist on a wide range of brands. I am obsessed with fun snacks and packaging.
Apart from this, I am extremely passionate about sustainability and I try and inculcate this value throughout all my work.
I enjoy the freedom the design industry affords us and I enjoy meandering across these design disciplines.
Our process
The team cohesively built the structure and content in collaboration with each other. Individual pages were assigned once the structure and flow was established so that each of us knew at what step are we analyzing and proposing solutions within the scope.
Design Guide was established very early in the process to maintain a uniform language and feel throughout and keep everyone informed about the guidelines that needs to be followed.
The Design Guide
A block on how the whole vibe is inspired from
1. the brand colour(teal) of the Libby app.
2. the colours from the interface of an e-reader.
